Full & partial reconstruction
Vaughan Paving has completed many full and partial road reconstruction projects for various municipalities. Our ability to perform all of our own traffic control, excavation and removals, subdrain installation, concrete work and paving allows us to complete these projects efficiently and with minimal disturbance to homeowners and the general public.

From 30 homes to 550
Vaughan Paving normally takes a project over from sub-base level and performs all grading, granular placement, base and top stage curb, sidewalk, and paving operations. In some cases we have taken on complete projects including site servicing, performed by our sewer and watermain division, Direct Underground Inc.
We also specialize in complete top stage works. Developers and home builders sometimes wait several years after their roads are built to base stage so they can finish building homes without damaging new roads. We work with consultant engineers and municipalities to put together deficiency lists and complete any necessary concrete or asphalt repairs, adjustments of manholes and catchbasins, flushing of sewer lines, installation of required street signage, top curb, sidewalk and top course paving.
Speed humps & streetscapes
Vaughan Paving are the experts in traffic calming measures such as asphalt speed humps, speed cushions, roundabouts, concrete medians and bump-outs. Most of the speed humps you have driven over in the City of Toronto and City of Vaughan were constructed by us, and our crews are experienced in the layout and construction of these very precise and detailed projects.
Many of these projects also include beautification elements — impressed asphalt, custom planter walls, impressed coloured concrete and interlock paving are quite common and really make the job stand out once it is complete.
Pathways through parks & ravines
Vaughan Paving has completed a wide variety of walkway and trail construction projects for various municipalities. These projects typically involve excavating meandering pathways through ravines, parks, or City boulevards, installing new municipal street lighting, and are either paved or poured in concrete — or sometimes a combination of the two.
Tree protection and sediment control are big factors to put in place to protect the natural landscape and limit the harsh effects of construction in these peaceful green spaces.
Repair lists, completed quickly
Vaughan Paving has completed multiple utility cut contracts and maintenance contracts for the City of Toronto and many other municipalities for over 20 years. Our crews have all the tools, equipment, and experience to effectively complete repair lists quickly and to make sure that all restoration is completed in a timely manner.
Our own excavating & grading
Vaughan Paving performs its own excavating and grading for any construction project, using our own fleet of excavating equipment, dump trucks, trailers and service vehicles — all maintained in house to our stringent standards.
We also complete full site servicing and sewer and watermain reconstruction projects through our affiliated division, Direct Underground Inc.
